May, June and July At A Glance

Three Sheeps To The Wind hangs over our bed so we can count drunk sheep ’til we fall asleep.

The beginning of May was a whirlwind of ‘last trips’ to our favorite restaurants in Disney before it was time to leave. Of course there was Jiko, Morimoto, and O’Hana.

We headed back to Wisconsin in May, stopping at one of our favorite resorts along the way. Pandion Ridge in Gulf Shores, AL is a new park. It was just over a year old when we visited in May. Beautiful wide sites and an amazing hot tub. ‘Cuz it’s all about the hot tub, heheheh. This was our second stay here, we’d stopped on the way to Disney in the fall, also.

The road trip itself was easy for a change! No disasters, large hotel bills or massive repairs were needed. Mr. Scott finds driving Arvie to be fun and relaxing — even in the rain. I’m certainly not going to argue with any passenger seat that has a kick-out foot rest and a flip-up table! (You can see the tips of my toes in one pic as I recline.) In fact, we ended up getting to Wisconsin a week early because Mr. Scott wanted to drive a two-day portion of the trip in one day. Note: He loves washing the front windshield.

June was relaxing and passed without photos, hehehehe. It rained the whole month. Not three days in a row saw continual sunshine. We did get a different tow car in June, I think it was June anyway, but I’ve already posted about our wee Silver Hornet, so you’ve already met her.

Singer and Naomi married in Rocky Mountain National Park in July. A handful of family and friends were on hand to celebrate the event. It was very, very awesome. Naomi’s mom performed the ceremony, and I think it’s the only wedding I’ve been to that I actually listened to all the words and thought about them as they were being said. Big shout out to Bonnie, there. You go, girl!
