A Baby Comes Home

Since we traded the Big TOW and Silver Hornet for Arvie while in Florida, we did not have a vehicle to drive while there. No worries, we loves us some Uber, so we were good to go for a handful of months with no day-to-day wheels.

We knew when we got back to Reedsville there would be a period of assessment to determine whether our ancient Trailblazer (that we had in storage in Wisconsin) would work as a tow vehicle.

Well, after new tires and tie rod and a few other expenses, the Trailblazer told us in numerous ways (check engine light, multiple electrical failures, transmission trying to sit in the front seat with me) that she was not going on any extended road trips as a tow vehicle. Mr. Scott was overjoyed. And, I’ll add, I believe he engineered all of the Trailblazer’s malfunctions simply so he’d not have to tow that eye sore around behind Arvie.

Enter Lil’ Hornet. This wee cute Dodge Dart is our new tow vehicle. Silver Hornet part 1/2 or Hornet2.0 whateveah you want to call her, she’ll be following us around as we travel the land.
