On The Road Again

Good Morning, from sunny Kissimmee, Florida.

101816a

We spent the summer in Reedsville, Wisconsin just like last year. Summer was over too quickly, but we did get to spend time with the kids, friends, and family.

All too soon it was September, and that means pulling up stakes and heading to warmer weather for the winter. The first part of winter will be enjoyed here in Kissimmee, and then we’ll head to (as of today) parts unknown.

So, if you’re looking for a winter get away and want to head to Disney, just yell, we’re here waiting for you. Taylor and Lacy will be here in just about 10 days so we’re going to get this party started!

Of course, since we’re just outside the gates of Disney, we’ve gone there the past two days (that would be every day since we got here, hehehe.) Picked up our annual passes for the parks, had dinner in Italy, bought a kimono in Japan, grabbed a turkey leg from America, snacked on some hummus fries in Morocco, and had drinks with Indiana Jones’s pilot. Not bad for two days.

  1. Hey, Jac! If you are still in Kissimmee, go to Gatorland! It is a the oldest reptile park in Florida and fun to see some really big gators! Enjoy!

    • i guess they just took hummus and froze it into a block, then cut it into fry shapes (long, thin rectangles) and deep fried them. i didn’t notice any breading or coating on them. very tasty! served with a cucumber yogurt salsa-like sauce. mr scott thought it seemed more greek than moroccan, but all was good. (not too too healthy, but still way tasty.)

    • you can pick up annual passes at any customer service desk. there are a few different package choices (some are more costly than others because they come with more benefits). just now disney is having a promotion where we get 13 months for the price of 12. yup, i’ll post pics as we take them, for sure!

    • Will do! We may still be here. Not sure if we’re staying after our proposed check out date or not. Having a blast with Disney being at our disposal, hehehe.
