Office/Craft Room. 63″ craft desk with bins of crafts under and on the shelves. Mr. Scott’s desk is on the left of the photo, and it folds flat against the wall for travel/storage. Fridge has been customized with chalkboard surface. Gavin has fun drawing, and the quick access to lists is a bonus. Cupboard doors were removed to add the plate rack and cup bins (and decorative trim). Mr. Scott hung his WINE sign above his wine and coffee bar. Our 3D TV replaced the smaller plasma TV that came with the RV. The ladder is Mr. Scott’s heavy-duty outdoor ladder, but Gavin likes it better than the loft ladder that came with the RV.

I didn’t turn on the fireplace for the photo, sorry- forgot all about it. Also, didn’t get close-up photos of the two full length spice walls inside the end ‘brick’ wall. Cupboard pulls are all redoes. I didn’t care for the pulls that came standard on the RV. Gavin’s room can be seen above the slider. He’s watching videos on his laptop. He has an end cabinet with the same chalkboard treatment as the fridge. The curtains here in the living room area will go the way of the dodo. I just haven’t had time to complete the new pretties. Each of the theater seats kicks out into a lounge. Another view of the bathroom that you’ve seen before, if you’ve read earlier posts. The Box. Love this thing! That’s a motion sensor light on the wall. We have them throughout the Big TOW. Best. Things. Evah. Mr. Scott put up a shower bar above the back of the shower. Also, installed low-flow shower and a dispenser that holds all of our showering lotions ’n’ potions. (Ignore the red shower washer sponge.) New headboard and headboard art. The tryptic art is of my cast iron sleigh bed that I had to give up to move into the Big TOW. The bedroom is still a work-in-progress, as is the rest of the Big TOW, but it is close to completion. Our queen-sized bed replaces the giant king bed that came with the RV. I found the duvet cover about a year ago and thought it was perfect. Gavin likes to see Raggedy Ann and Mini-Stan on the bed. The Big TOW is set up to be serviceable and not a showplace so there are racks and stands and raw lumber all over the place. We’re A OK with that. Here our bins hold clothes and everything else under the sun that we need to stick someplace handy. Drawer pulls here are new, again, replacing the originals that just didn’t fit the look. Gavin watching vids in “Gavin’s Room.” Also known as ‘upstairs’. The wee marshy area separates the Big TOW from the limited-flight golf course. Further off is the road and farms. There is some road noise but never anything distracting. Since we’ll probably be coming back here each year, Mr. Scott will be putting in a wood deck running the length of the Big TOW. Until then, we make due with our outdoor ‘rugs’. Always open for business.

  1. This isn’t a big TOW-it’s a big WOW–a bit of Wonderment on Wheels!! . Love how you’re settling in and making the place your own! How is it that you’re closer to CS HQ? I need a lesson in geography, I’m afraid. So if you’re wintering in LV, does that mean you can pop down the few short miles (it’s about 5 hours) to visit me in Prescott?

    • Just now we’re about half-again closer to CSHQ than we were in Sheboygan. so, only about forty minutes. Yes, definitely, we’ll get together for some visiting time for sure!

  2. Looking great guys! I’ll tell folks that my parents are living in a camper and they’ll have no idea until I show them the pictures! It’s like a mansion on wheels! Save some room around the fire pit for us this summer!!
